Welcome to the Fenway Bark Family Blog!

Hi there! I’m Tara Cunha—proud dog mom, wife, and the only female human in our family team (unless we’re counting the dogs, which… we absolutely are 🐾). Alongside my husband Scott and my two sons, Jesse and Jason Rogers, we own and operate Fenway Bark Dog Resort in beautiful Clinton, MA.

As a family, we are lifelong animal lovers—especially dogs, who rank #1 in our hearts every time. Our mission? To make a difference in the lives of dogs and give them the care, enrichment, and joy they deserve.

At the center of our own pack are The Trio, our three incredible dogs who inspire everything we do:

🐺 Rio – Our moody, majestic husky with a stubborn streak a mile wide and a fierce loyalty to his mama. He came to us from Amish country, PA, and let’s just say the journey to get him was an adventure all its own. He listens to no one… except himself. And maybe me on a good day.

❄️ Kaya – A snow-white beauty with one eye, a survivor’s spirit, and an independent soul. Rescued from the streets of Texas, through a kill shelter, and saved by the Husky Halfway House in Oklahoma, Kaya now lives a life of comfort, dignity, and just enough affection on her terms. She’s grateful—we know it—and she shows it with quiet strength and sass.

🐾 Nala – Our youngest (and messiest) family member, Nala is an English Creme Golden Retriever who joined us unexpectedly when a relative could no longer care for her. Nala instantly flipped the script on our house! She’s social, silly, and a mud-magnet—if there’s a puddle, she’s in it and rolling with glee. Her fur should be white, but... you'll see.

Each of these pups brings something truly special to our lives, and you’ll get to know them (and their shenanigans) better through this blog.

Blogging is a new venture for me—part storytelling, part therapy, maybe even a little chaos—but I’m excited to share more about our journey, our dogs, and the joy that is Fenway Bark. Who knows? Maybe this space will bring some smiles your way too.
