Destination: Park9 (Everett Location)

Destination Spotlight: Park-9 Everett – The Flagship Dog Bar Experience

Today’s dogventure brought us back to a place close to my heart—Everett, MA, just next door to my hometown of Malden. Driving around brought back a wave of childhood memories, but this time, we were on a mission to check out the flagship location of Park-9 Dog Bar—and it did not disappoint.

Easy Arrival & Warm WelcomeUnlike its Fenway sibling, Park-9 Everett is located at the end of a quiet side street and offers dedicated parking—a major win when you’re managing three excited pups! We leashed up the Trio and headed in, where we paid a very reasonable $15 per dog (humans enter free).

The Layout: Room to Roam & RelaxOne of the best features of Park-9 Everett is its spacious indoor setup. There’s a large dining area where dogs must remain on leash, but also an adjacent indoor off-leash play space for the pups to burn off some steam. The epoxy flooring was clean and easy on the paws, and there were climbing structures and faux trees that gave the space a playful, welcoming vibe.

TVs aired sports games, and the long full-service bar was a great place to unwind while keeping an eye on our furballs. Even better, the attached outdoor space allowed for seamless indoor-outdoor off-leash play, giving dogs even more freedom to explore.

Food & Drink: Enough to Keep You HappyThe human menu was limited, but the food was onsite and easy to grab. And let’s be honest—we came for the dogs and the drinks, and both delivered. With a cocktail in hand, we watched the Trio make new friends and truly enjoy themselves.

Staff Vibe: Present but PassiveWhile there were several attendants on duty, they weren’t particularly engaging with either the dogs or the humans. That said, they were keeping a watchful eye from a distance, and the space still felt safe and managed. A little more interaction would’ve gone a long way, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us.

Important Info: What You’ll Need Before You GoDon’t forget to register online ahead of time or bring a printed copy of your pup’s vaccines. All dogs must be fully vaccinated, and if they’re over a year old, they must also be spayed or neutered to gain entry.

Final Thoughts: We’ll Be Back! All in all, Park-9 Everett was an easy, enjoyable outing for both dogs and humans. The Trio had a blast socializing, and we got to sip, snack, and relax in a dog-centered environment that’s clearly designed with comfort and fun in mind. We’ll absolutely be back—and maybe bring some fur-ends along next time.
